In 2009, Asheesh earned his Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) from the International Shihan Kai, which consists of the Japanese Executive council, the American Shihan Kai, & the Canadian Shihan Kai in Osaka, Japan.

• 2011 - 8th Seito Shito Ryu Karate-do International Taikai - Vancouver, BC

              o Bronze Medal: Team Kata Advanced
              o Gold Medal: Kumite (17 yrs Boys)
              o Silver Medal: Kata (12-17 yrs Advanced Boys)
